This Privacy Policy explains how Orca Advisor Inc. ("Orca Advisor," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Services. By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We gather data provided directly by users and information generated through service usage. This includes account information, business and operational data, financial information, usage and interaction data, linked bank or financial institution information (where applicable), and communications sent to the company. Some collected information may be personal data, while other information relates to businesses or organizations and is not personal in nature.
3. QuickBooks Integration
If you choose to connect your QuickBooks account, we access your Income Statement (Profit & Loss) and Balance Sheet data through Intuit's API. This data is used solely to generate financial assessment and is not shared with third parties except as described in this policy. Users may disconnect their QuickBooks account at any time from account settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services; generate analytics, insights, and recommendations; share relevant information with Partner Banks or other authorized parties; communicate with users; and develop and improve technology, including through automated and artificial intelligence–based systems.
5. How We Share Information
Information may be shared with Partners, infrastructure and service providers supporting Services operation (including hosting, analytics, communications, artificial intelligence providers, and payment processors such as Stripe), and other vendors acting on behalf of the company. We do not sell personal data to unrelated third parties.
6. AI and Anonymized Data Use
We use artificial intelligence and automated systems to analyze information, generate insights, and support benchmarking and analytical tools. We may also create and use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from information collected through the Services for research, analytics, benchmarking, and model development purposes. Such data does not identify any individual.
7. Data Retention and User Access
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal and contractual obligations, support analytics and comparative reporting, and resolve disputes. Certain information may be retained for a minimum period, after which it may be deleted, de-identified, or anonymized for research and analytical purposes. Inactive accounts may be deactivated in accordance with operational practices.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
9. Marketing Communications
We may send product updates, educational content, or information about related services. Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time using unsubscribe mechanisms provided or by contacting the company.

Depending on location and applicable law, users may have certain rights regarding personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
